The Boston Public Library is a national treasure. It is architectural and artistically significant not to mention their large collection of books. It is fun to just meander through this massive library. Each turn reveals beautiful room after beautiful room. When you are upstairs do not miss looking out the windows into the beautiful courtyard below. There is also a collection of miniatures and marionette puppets on the second floor that the children really enjoyed. Be forewarned the library is not a place of business and takes its closing time very seriously. They will very aggressively start ushering you out fifteen minutes before the library closes.
