Pilgrim Study

pilgrimsWe have been studying the pilgrims.  We had mildly studied the pilgrims in the past. This year we wanted to really study the subject in depth.  We read a lot of books on the pilgrims; and really enjoyed learning about these brave and remarkable people that laid the foundation of our country.  The following books were some of our favorites.

“Three Young Pilgrims” by Cheryl Harness

“Sarah Morton’s Day: A Day in the Life of a Pilgrim Girl” by Kate Waters

“The First Thanksgiving” by Linda Hayward

“If You Sailed on the Mayflower in 1620” by Ann McGovern

“Squanto’s Journey: The Story of the First Thanksgiving”

“The Pilgrims at Plymouth” by Lucille Rech Penner

“A Plymouth Partnership: Pilgrims and Native Americans” by Susan Whitehurst

“On the Mayflower” by Kate Waters

“The Journal of Jasper Jonathan Pierce” by Ann Rinaldi

“Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims” by Rush Limbaugh
