There is more to learn than just chemistry from the board game “Elementeo.” This game is the brain child of kid CEO, Anshul Samar. That’s right, a middle schooler developed this board game and is CEO of his own company. I first heard of Anshul Samar on NPR. I have included a link to his interview. I think he is really inspiring for youth. He is a shining example of “kid potential”. Our family enjoys playing “Elementeo”. The kids really like the vivid cartoon graphics of the elements. This game can bring a fun activity to compliment chemistry lessons. Not only does it familiarize the players with the elements, the advanced levels of the game involve bonding and reactions. We found the video tutorial very helpful. We also found it humorous that he always seems to beat his younger sister.
