Glitter balloons definitely add a little sparkle to a party. It’s those little touches that people remember. They are very easy to make. The only difficult part is the balloons need to be made within hours of your party because latex balloons do not hold helium for twenty four hours.
Paint your balloon using a foam brush with Mod Podge which can be purchased from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or any craft store.
Sprinkle glitter over the glue. I used multi color confetti that can be purchased from Party Supermarket or any local party supply store. A note of caution, do not paint the glue too far up the balloon. If you do the balloon will weigh too much and sink to the floor.
