As a child Frida Kahlo was in a terrible trolley accident which plagued her health the rest of her life. As a result she had to have multiple surgeries through out her life that sometimes would result in a body cast. Always the artist, Frida painted her cast. We found this fun coloring page on line that allows children to decorate Frida’s body cast.

It reminded us a great deal of her iconic painting of a deer.
