We have trouble with Leprechauns this time of year. Not even our excellent guard dog can seem to stop them.
We can see where they have been. They leave their little muddy foot prints all over our floors. There is no mistaking them. They almost look like someone dipped a small sponge cut out in the shape of shoes in washable poster paint. They are also rather cheeky. They turn our furniture upside down and make a complete mess.
They have even been known to dye our toilet water green, decorate sleeping children with shamrock stickers, and dye our milk green!
Our family is bracing itself for our annual visit from these whee Irish folk. Does anyone else have trouble with leprechauns?
